E. Stewart Rhodes is an ex-paratrooper, disabled vet, ex-firearms instructor, former Ron Paul staff member, Yale Law Graduate and lawyer in Montana and Nevada.

Graduating from Yale Law School in 2004, his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale and was a Yale Research Scholar.

He is also founder of "Oath Keepers", a non-partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, peace officers, and firefighters who will fulfill the oath we swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.

Stewart has written for Gerry Spence's The Warrior, for MoreLiberty.org, writes The Enemy at the Gate column for S.W.A.T. Magazine, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people in the "war on terror."
