gun rights supporter.
Fusaro was director of State Legislation for
Gun Owners of America from 1994 through 2001
when he was effectively fired for refusing
to take a softer line in his defense of the
Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
"When you take a stand on something you
believe in, you are going to pay a price,"
said Fusaro. "A lot of what has happened to
us in Congress and in the state legislatures
has come about because we are not vigilant,
because we are lazy" he added.
